Regarding presents for Letters of Rec

Just say no.. apparently that's the general consensus on this page. it was nice to read comments from the "recipients" end. There was some chatter about how usually presents make them uncomfortable and are from asian people... i kind of cringed at that part, but that stereotype seems true.

i came across this page as i tried to google how to "write letters of rec" since i've come across this one situation in particular numerous times- ghost writing it for the person who will use it to in turn base their actual letter off of. i'll include some helpful links in the next post.
